Family terms

Version 2026-08-22 · Superfan Deals, LLC

The deal, in one paragraph

Superfans buy a local deals membership from your family’s page. 60% of every dollar they pay goes two places: $1 per month to the scholarship fund, and the rest credited to your family; what remains runs Superfan Deals. Our share never exceeds $40 a month, and every dollar above that cap goes to your family as well. Every number is printed on your page and in your console — the same arithmetic, everywhere.

You are a seller, not an employee

Your family earns its share as independent income for selling memberships. Superfan Deals, LLC is not your employer, and nobody here is employed by anybody. What you earn is taxable income to you: before any payout we require your tax details (the W-9 information — legal name, address, tax classification), and Stripe collects your tax ID and bank account during direct-deposit setup. Where the law requires it, a 1099 form will be issued for what you were paid. Your taxes are your responsibility — a tax professional is worth one conversation.

Getting paid

Your balance is whatever the ledger says your family earned, minus what was already paid out. You request a payout from your console ($25 minimum); every request is reviewed by a person before money moves, and approved payouts go to your bank by direct deposit through Stripe. We can refuse or reverse a payout where something is wrong — a mistaken charge, a chargeback, or a page that broke these terms.

Your page, your word

Everything on your page is self-reported by you, and you promise it is true: the kids are your own (or in your legal care), the goal is real, and the money will be used for the kids’ activities as the page says. You own publishing — the page goes live and comes down when you say. Updates you write are reviewed by our safety checks and sent only after you approve them; pages only ever show a kid’s first name and activity, and you agree not to work around that.

Keeping your page active

Your page needs at least one approved update every 90 days, counted from the day your account started and restarted by every update you approve. From your console you can take up to two 30-day extensions in a row. If the deadline passes with no approved update, your page pauses: from then on, new membership revenue from your page goes to the scholarship fund, and the members who were funding you are emailed once and can choose another family. Everything your family already earned is untouched and still pays out. Your account, your page and your history stay yours, and a membership bought from your page while it is paused stays linked to you. To turn the page back on, post an update; we review it and reactivate the page. Members whose share moved to the fund are not moved back — they can choose you again from their account.

What we can do

We can take a page dark, hold its payouts, or close an account that misleads superfans, misuses funds, or endangers a kid’s privacy — quietly and immediately. Superfans’ refunds, when the law or fairness requires one, come out of the affected balance. We may update these terms; if we do, the version changes and you’ll be asked to agree again before your next payout.
