Membership terms
Version 2026-09-01 · Superfan Deals, LLC · hello@directily.com
The short version
A rolling monthly membership for local deals. It renews until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from your account. There are no refunds — cancel before your next charge and you keep what you already paid for. 60% of every dollar goes directly to supporting families: $1 a month to the scholarship fund, and the rest directly to the family for their activity costs.
What you are buying
A Superfan Deals membership is a rolling subscription to a set of deals at local businesses in your area, plus the perks declared at your amount. It is not a charitable donation, it is not tax deductible, and it does not buy you a share of anything.
It is one membership. The amounts — $15, $25 and $50 a month, or an amount you name yourself — are not different products. What changes with the amount is how much of your payment reaches a family, and the perks declared at that amount: your savings allowance, how early you see flash deals, and how far the deals range geographically. The perks scale with the amount, so no amount gets everything.
Billing, renewal and cancelling
Your membership is rolling. It renews automatically — monthly if you chose monthly, yearly if you chose the year — until you cancel it. There is no contract, no minimum term, and no cancellation fee.
Annual billing is one month free: you pay for eleven months and are covered for twelve. It renews every year the same way monthly renews every month.
You can cancel any time from Account → Billing. Cancelling stops future charges. It does not end the period you already paid for — you keep the membership until that period runs out.
If a renewal payment fails, your deals pause until a payment goes through. Updating your card in Billing restores them.
You may add 3% at checkout to cover card processing. It is optional, it is off by default, it is itemized separately on your receipt, and it is never part of the membership price or the split.
Refunds — there are none
We do not give refunds. Not for an unused month, not for a month you forgot to cancel, not for a year you bought and stopped using in March.
The policy is: cancel before your next charge. You keep everything you have already paid for. We say this here, on the pricing page, on the checkout button and in the help pages, because a policy this blunt has to be impossible to miss rather than easy to find.
Where the law requires a refund, the law wins and we will pay it.
The deals
Every deal belongs to the business that wrote it. The business sets the discount, the terms, the days and times it runs, and any cap on what it will cost them — and the business can pause or change its own deal at any time. Deals come and go for that reason, and the set of businesses will change over time.
Your savings allowance is a yearly promise anchored to your join anniversary, not to your billing date. It resets on the anniversary of the day you joined.
To redeem, you show the deal on your phone at the register and the business marks it used. Deals are for you, not for resale, and not for a business to run through on a customer’s behalf. Systematically abusing a deal, or reselling access to your membership, ends the membership.
If a business will not honour a live deal, email us. We will fix it or take the deal down, and we will tell you which.
Where your money goes
60% of every dollar you pay goes directly to supporting families: $1 a month to the scholarship fund, and the rest directly to the family for their activity costs — fees, travel, gear, camp. Our own share is capped at $40 a month per member, and every dollar above that cap goes to the family as well.
If your membership is not linked to a family, your whole share goes to the scholarship fund, which funds memberships for local kids without a page of their own. You can point your membership at a family you know at any time from Account, and it switches from your next payment onward.
Your membership funds a family as long as they keep their page active. A family page needs at least one approved update every 90 days. If the family you fund goes 90 days without one, your share moves to the scholarship fund from your next payment onward, and we email you once so you can choose a new family from Account — or stay with the fund. Nothing you already paid is moved or changed, and nothing is moved back without your say.
The split is computed once, on the payment itself, in our ledger. The same arithmetic is printed on every page that mentions it.
Your account
There are no passwords. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, or with Google. Keep your email account secure — anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
One person, one membership. Do not share your account. You can sign out on every device at once from Account → Security.
We can suspend or end a membership that is being used fraudulently, resold, or used to harass a business or a family. If we end your membership for one of those reasons, we will tell you why.
The things we do not promise
We do not promise a specific number of businesses, a specific deal, or a specific amount of savings. We tell you exactly which deals are running before you pay, and you can read the whole list without an account.
We do not promise the site is never down. If it is down at a register, the business can still honour a deal and email us, and we will make it right.
Nothing here is investment, tax or legal advice.
Changes
When these terms change in substance, the version date at the top moves and we email members before the change takes effect. If you do not want the new terms, cancel — that is always available from your account.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Oregon.
